Accommod8u Stage-Bob Blue Stage

Enjoy Mandippal's intoxicating sound and captivating lyrics.

"From playing guitar in his Kitchener high school music class, to selling out hometown venues, to showcasing at major festivals, Mandippal has certainly come a long way in his decade plus career as a musician, establishing himself as one of the hardest working artists in Ontario. He has made a lasting impression in Ontario's booming singer/songwriter scene, performing with notable acts like Scott Helman, Virginia To Vegas, Tim Hicks, Fred Penner, Hannah Georgas, Lindi Ortega, Repartee, Said The Whale, Justin Nozuka, Jully Black, Sarah Slean, and many others. With over a decade of songwriting and performing under his belt, 200 shows played a year, 2000+ EPs sold in his last effort, Mandippal is recognized as a serious player. With the ability to capture an audience with his tone and humility, it's only a matter of time before he wins you over as well.

Rebekah Stevens will take over the Bob Blue Stage with her incredible voice.  A country singer-songwriter she will bring some of her work from her debut EP along with some of her favourites.

Rebekah is a country singer-songwriter currently residing in Kitchener, Ontario. Coming from a musical family, music has always been in her blood & is a passion she pursued from an early age. After posting videos of herself on YouTube for several years, singing a variety of both covers & original songs, Rebekah was discovered by an LA producer wishing to work with her. In early 2013, Rebekah flew to Los Angeles to record her debut EP ""Here I Am."" Later on that same year, Rebekah was chosen out of hundreds of entrants across Canada to be named a Boots & Hearts Top 8 Emerging Artist Finalist, thus making her official debut on stage as a Canadian country artist at one of Canada's largest country music festivals. Since then, she has been making a name for herself performing across Ontario, sharing the stage with major Canadian acts such as Aaron Prtichett, Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, Kiefer Sutherland & Wes Mack. In early 2015, Rebekah released her first single ""Better in the Past"" to Canadian country radio which, along with her debut EP, is available on iTunes now."

Standing at the Cosmic Crossroads with Momentum for Change.

WiSTEM (Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) was founded in Spring 2013 by UW students who want to promote equality in STEM disciplines. Although we focus on the issue of gender imbalance, we encourage both males and females, grads and undergrads, and anyone with a connection to STEM to participate. Our activities are a mix of skills workshops, topical discussions, homework help, speakers, and special trips. We hope to deliver a regular programme of events spanning all STEM topics which promote collaboration, creativity, and open-mindedness to all students. We believe that no matter how small, we can make a difference.
